Fashion Footprint passed a major milestone this year, with the celebration of its tenth anniversary. As we reflect on our achievements over the last ten years, we are also looking forward, planning the future of Fashion Footprint with enthusiasm and ambition.
Technology and innovation have been at the forefront of our drive towards sustainability. This report can now only be read in digital format; a testament to the changes we have made. We audit and monitor our suppliers entirely online and our consumption, recycling and employee engagement programmes harness technology to help us achieve our targets.
The Four Pillars of Fashion footprint played an integral part in the transformation of our state-of-the-art head office, Colegrave House. We selected suppliers and products with great care, considered the short and long- term wellbeing of our employees, supported our community by donating old furniture and equipment to good causes and delivered a building with best practice environmental credentials.
We are proud to mark the successful completion of our three-year partnership with our Fashion Footprint charity Harmony House, a non-profit organisation making a significant difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and women in India. We are now in the process of working with our employees to select another Fashion Footprint charity, continuing our momentum and focussing fundraising efforts with a new partner.
A new wave of young talent is picking up the sustainability baton, building on the foundations of the last 10 years, they will continue to shape and guide our future as a socially responsible retailer. The ideals of Fashion Footprint are increasingly becoming part of everyday behaviour. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to the success of Fashion Footprint.
